After Michelangelo “The Delphic Sybil”. Michelangelo painted this “al fresco” on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, in 1509. One can see his love for sculpture in the details such as the figure in the background, which is similar to his sculpture “David” in Florence, Italy. Notice the well defined lines in her mysterious expression and especially the folds of the cloth. My version was edited using more vibrant colors, and adding a more feminine quality to her overall appearance.
